Hi, I’m Stacy — a Michigan mom of two little ones, working full-time and navigating the beautiful chaos of toddlers, home, and everything in between. Most days you’ll find me juggling work, coffee, and the never-ending job of keeping small humans alive… and somehow finding the magic tucked into the messy parts.

I started Momma in the Mitten as a cozy corner for moms who want real-life ideas, helpful recommendations, and a little inspiration along the way. Whether you’re planning a zoo day, looking for the next bedtime book, trying to get dinner on the table, or just searching for something to make life feel a little easier — you’re in the right place.

Outside of work and parenting, I love exploring Michigan with my family. You’ll find little pieces of those moments woven throughout this space, too.

As a licensed veterinary technician, you’ll also see bits of that world woven in — the animal stories, tips, and behind-the-scenes moments that are such a big part of my life. I don’t share my children’s faces online, and I keep this space mostly faceless overall, but my goal is always to keep it personal, honest, and full of heart.
